Visions of Franklin County, Vermont

Visions of Franklin County is a local art project to benefit the Swanton-Missisquoi Valley Lions Club.  Several local artists contributed to this project by painting frames.  The frames were then used to frame 11x14 plate glass mirrors, and are now on display at the Village Frame Shoppe & Gallery.  This exhibit will hang November 22, 2011 through December 17, 2011.  Come on by the gallery and bid on your favorite framed mirrors!  All proceeds from this silent auction will go towards helping to buy eyeglasses for local people in need.

The Swanton Missisquoi Valley Lions Club was chartered in June of 1993.  Since its inception, the club has donated countless hours to help local families in need by providing quality eye care and eyeglasses.  The primary community areas served by the Swanton Missisquoi Valley Lions Club include Alburgh, Highgate, Swanton and St. Albans.  In addition to providing this charity to local families, they also collect used eyeglasses and refurbish them to send to third world countries.

Come on by the gallery, place your bid and know that your dollars will benefit someone from your local community!
