Vermont Artist John C. Olson
John Clarke Olson was born in Connecticut and moved to Vermont in 1967 following military service. John and his wife have two grown children and also grandchildren. John has been painting since 1975 and continues to paint in a realistic style using oils and palette knife. He paints in his studio as well as outside on location. This allows him to create the mood and atmosphere in his paintings of the many rural landscapes and villages that grace our beautiful state of Vermont.
By 2008 John had visited and painted well over 240 towns in Vermont. His goal is to paint from all 251 Vermont towns! Read More...
